How To Host a TournamentGeek Pool:
Hosting a pool is very simple. You only have to make a few choices and enter them on a single page.
1. Go to the Create New Pool page: You can do this by selecting "Your Hosted Pools" on the Home page, then click the "Create New Pool" link in the upper left.
2. Select a tournament as the basis of your pool. Only active tournaments that have not yet started will be listed.
3. Select a unique name for your pool. If you choose a name that's already in use you will be told. Just choose a different name.
4. Select a name for yourself. Your choice will be displayed as the name of the pool host.
5. Finally, choose your scoring options. By default, one point will be awarded to participants for each game won throughout the tournament. You can change the points awarded by tournament round if you wish. (We recommend the simple "one point per win" scoring. It's easy for participants to follow.)
6. Then, click "Create". Your new pool will now show up on the "Your Hosted Pools" page. To invite people to join your pool, just let them know the pool name you chose.
You can edit your pool selections later if you want, but once participants start to join you should inform them of any changes.
